Preventative & Restorative

Our goal is to improve the health of your teeth for the long term. The doctor works hand in hand with you to provide you a personalized treatment:

    • By listening to your concerns, performing a careful examination and discussing any recommended treatments.
    • By providing treatments such as Fillings and Root Canals which work to decrease the immediate pain and discomfort.
    • By going over your dental health and how to improve it.

We encourage you to ask questions and want you to have a good understanding of your dental needs without feeling rushed.

Dental X-rays

Dental radiographs allow the doctor to get a better view of the health of your teeth. Our x-rays reveal potential conditions such as abscess or cyst, loss of bone and tooth decay. We utilize modern digital sensors and low-level radiation technology to ensure your safety. These digital x-rays will then be available to review immediately with you and your doctor.

Exams and Cleanings

During your first visit, you will receive an expert oral examination. The doctor will then discuss any findings with you, create an individualized treatment plan, and answer any questions you may have. Following your examination, a dental cleaning also known as dental prophylaxis can often be completed the same visit. Dental prophylaxis is a treatment performed to clean teeth and gums as an important step in stopping the progress of the gum disease gingivitis and periodontitis.

Composite Fillings

A composite filling is used to repair a tooth that is weakened by decay, cracks or fractures. There are many types of fillings available including white composite fillings and metal fillings. The use of high quality composite fillings allows us to match the natural color of your teeth and help alleviate any health concerns you may have with traditional metal fillings.

Root Canal Therapy

If your teeth are feeling extreme sensitivity to hot and cold, or you have severe tooth pain or abscess, then your tooth might be weakened by decay or infection. To save the tooth, the decay and infected pulp containing bacteria and nerves are removed using a gentle technique. Medication and dental materials are then used to restore the tooth.

Tooth Extraction

Extreme tooth pain may be due to severe decay or gum disease. To alleviate pain, prevent the spread of infection, and reduce further damage the tooth is removed completely. We can discuss with you future replacement of the tooth using dental implants, bridges, or dentures.

Wisdom Tooth Extraction

When the jawline does not have adequate space for your third molars, otherwise known as wisdom teeth, the tooth can develop decay or become stuck below the surface of the gums. These wisdom teeth are extracted to alleviate pain or swelling and prevent damage such as infection and crowding to nearby teeth.
